Award winning jewellery designer Lenique Louis is recognised for her show-stopping beautiful handcrafted jewellery.  Lenique Louis's jewellery is a firm favourite with celebrities Ellie Goulding, Ella Eyre and featured in international fashion magazines Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Fault, Phoneix, and Dubai's La Femme magazine.
   
Launched in 2011, jewellery designer Lenique Louis specialises in organic handcrafted jewellery. Working from her London-based workshop in Holborn, she creates distinctive organic jewellery using the ancient technique of Hand Carved Wax.

Lenique Louis began her career creating handmade pieces of jewellery within the confines of a makeshift jewellery studio in her grandmother's garage.

A trip to Thailand's East of Eden Coral Reef began a fascination with the underwater world. This journey inspired her to recreate the forms, patterns and textures found in Coral Reef into beautiful, elegant jewellery.

hWanting to take her business to the next level she approached The Prince's Trust who gave her a business start-up loan. To refine her self-taught craft Lenique gained experience with celebrity jeweller Stephen Webster and The Queen’s jewellers Garrard.

In 2011 Lenique was spotted as a rising talent in the jewellery industry and was selected by The Princes Trust and Cockpit Arts for the Creative Careers Programme, providing her with support to grow her jewellery business. In 2012/2013 Lenique also received the prestigious Cockpit Arts Radcliff Craft Award for her innovative practice and designs using the Hand Carved Wax technique. During 2013 she also presented with The PRECIOUS Award for ‘Best Business of the Year 2013’.

Due to her business success, she has the privilege of being selected as a Brand Ambassador for The Prince's Trust speaking to Sky News, BBC One, MTV, ITV, GoogleBeen invited to The House of Lords and has met The Queen of England and His Royal Highness Prince Of Wales and The Prime Minister. She has also been featured in The Evening Standard, The Sun, The Mirror, and The South London Press.

 Lenique Louis Academy- Giving Back 

Due to Lenique wanting to always give back and wanting to help young vulnerable teenagers and adults. She founded and runs Lenique Louis Academy where the main focus is to help vulnerable teenagers and adults dealing with depression and other challenges with jewellery as a therapeutic way of dealing with their issues and overcoming them.

The Lenique Louis Academy aim is to develop a holistic response to their needs and empower teenagers to make choices to improve the quality of their lives with jewellery classes aimed at dealing with their self-development and well-being.  Find out more HERE
